Samael | Cellar Darling | Illumishade | Kassogtha
Live from Kofmehl | Sunday June 21st | 18:00 CEST

A live streamed, full-show, pay-what-you-want, worldwide metal festival.

🤘 Transcending borders and barriers.
🤘 Accessible and affordable for anyone.
🤘 Paying artists fairly.
🤘 Fiercely independent.
🤘 A place for the worldwide metal scene to come together.

Tohuwabohu is a streaming-only metal festival, broadcast from a legendary Swiss music venue with a full production, from sound to lights and video. In these crazy times we are trying something different: the bands and the organisers come together to create a unique event, in an effort to bring at least one summer festival to you this year.

We are combining the best of both worlds in an effort to connect us all: fans, artists, and crew alike. The show will kick off at 6PM CEST with a joint interview with members of each band, and your comments during the stream will be displayed during the performances for the artists to see.

Tickets are “pay what you like”, and we rely on your support and generosity. But since many of us around the world have been hit hard by this crisis, and since Tohuwabohu Festival wants to be inclusive to anyone around the globe, you can also watch for free.

We’ve also made a festival shirt and created limited posters signed by all the artists. All, and we mean ALL of your contributions, ticket sales and merch sales will be split between bands, organisers and crew involved, while a portion of proceeds is donated to the Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief fund & the Given To Live charity.

By forgoing a live audience, we ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. And by broadcasting the show live instead, we transcend borders and bridge divides, bringing together the incredible worldwide metal scene and offering at least one summer festival.

Tohuwabohu is a real live show: all bands will play their sets on a proper stage, with full sound & light production, broadcast in real time with professional cameras.
