| AURA NOIR CONFIRMED FOR FESTUNG OPEN AIR 09! | |
Following the confirmation of Aura Noir's first live appearance in 2009, Photograve Management today confirms another possibility to see the band live in 2009.
Aura Noir will headline 2009's edition of the Festung Open Air, taking place in Bitterfeld, 40 km outside Leipzig.
This will be the first chance in 10 years to see the band live in Germany!
Stay tuned for a few more possibilities to see Aura Noir live in 2009!

| AURA NOIR CONFIRMED FOR KARMØYGEDDON 09! | |
THE RETURN OF AURA NOIR!
For the first time since 2005, AURA NOIR is returning to the stage, and the first show will be at The Karmøygeddon Festival in
Norway,April 24-25, 2009.
AURA NOIR are pioneers in black thrash metal, having released their first album "Dreams Like Deserts" in 1995.
Their second album "Black Thrash Attack" defined this genre, and still ranks as a classic.
The band has always faced obstacles with record labels and other disturbing surroundings, thus making
an AURA NOIR concert
something special and rare to behold. When they're entering the stage at Karmøygeddon,
it will be four years since their last concert, mostly due to Aggressor's near-fatal accident in 2005,
when he fell 4 storeys down after their appearance at the Inferno festival.
Aggressor has made most of the material on the band's new album "Hades Rise", but he will not be performing
with the band on stage for now. Apollyon (bass) and Blasphemer (guitar) will deliver their ugly goods again,
and a new session-drummer will be presented at a later stage.

Mighty hails to you all,
Thanks to the Russian hordes for a truly dedicated and intense welcome,
both shows were great gatherings, and we're looking forward to return with a new album.
The next battles are returning to Germany for the Hellflame festivals in September
and October, before rounding off this year with the Screamfest in Oslo.
