 | SARKE CONFIRMED FOR HOLE IN THE SKY! |  |
After two "warm up shows" in Norway earlier this year, SARKE will finally play their first proper gig on Norwegian soil as part of this year´s Hole In The Sky festival in Bergen.
The date is Saturday August 29th.

Vreid will return to the mighty Wacken Open Air in August!
The band comments:
“When we played Wacken in 2006 we played in the tent.The tent was packed, and thousands were standing outside.
The atmosphere and response from the audience was fantastic. To this day it is one of the most memorable shows we have ever done.
We are extremly glad that we can return to Wacken, and are eagerly awaiting to enter the German battlefields once again”

| SARKE SUPPORTING KEEP OF KALESSIN IN TRONDHEIM | |
After the live debut during this year´s Inferno Festival, where SARKE performed a 30 minute promotional set, they will be "warming up" further with a gig supporting KEEP OF KALESSIN in Trondheim.
This will be a special gig in many ways, as Keep Of Kalessin are playing their hometown for the first time in many years.
The date is Friday April 24th, at Studentersamfundet in Trondheim.

| THE BATALLION PLAYS INFERNO FESTIVAL! | |
Since Meshuggah had to cancel their headlining appearance at this year´s Inferno Festival, due to drummer Tomas Haake´s back injury, the festival was left with a pretty impossible task to find a replacement headliner in just a few days.
The result is the following: Pestilence and Septic Flesh moves up on the Thursday billing, with Pestilence headlining, and
The Batallion will bring their manly old-school metal to the festival again!
The band played the Inferno Festival last year, and tore the house down. Get ready for another dose of real masculinity!
The Thursday program for Inferno Festival 09 thus looks like this:

| NIGHTWISH CONFIRMED FOR NORWAY ROCK FESTIVAL 09! | |
Finally, Nightwish is coming back to Norway!
The band has toured extensively worldwide since the release of their magnificent comeback "Dark Passion Play",
and will soon crawl back to Finnish lakes and Swedish forests for a well-deserved break from serious roadwork.
However, they have cleared some space in their summer schedule to play in Norway once again,
and after having torn both Oslo, Bergen and Stjørdal apart in the past, it´s now time for a trip down south, and the Norway Rock Festival.
The band will headline the Saturday of the festival, and this will be the band´s only concert in Norway this year!
